Privacy
The short version: Synnal analyses public YouTube videos and their public comments. It doesn’t sell your data, and it doesn’t track you across the web.
What we collect
If you sign in, we store your account (name, email, and what you told us you work on) so your vault and share links can find their way back to you. Analyses you run are counted against your monthly allowance. If you don’t sign in, a single anonymous device marker lets us apply the free limit — nothing that identifies you.
What we analyse
Only public data: a video’s metadata and its public comments, fetched through YouTube’s own API. Synnal reads comments to build the brief; it never reproduces private information, and comments are referenced, not republished wholesale.
What we never do
No selling or sharing of your data. No advertising trackers. No scoring of individual commenters. A shared brief is read-only, and a share link reveals nothing beyond the brief it points to.
